The sound of the goats and chickens echo in her ear as she chases her friend around the slide and towards the large swing on the playground. As her arm reaches in front of her, she catches the tail of the navy shirt her friend is wearing. Isla E. is a Preschool four student at The Village School and started her Village journey at three years old. Isla wants to be a teacher when she grows up and loves her class. In her free time, Isla likes to jump on the trampoline, learn Spanish, swim and slide down waterslides, play hide and seek, and spend time with her friends. At school she loves to feed the goats and chickens with her classmates. The best advice she receives from her mom is to “love herself”.
