Breathe in and breathe out. The humid air of Houston fills her lungs as she hears her shoes hit the pavement. Running is the fastest way to clear her mind as she goes through her to do list for the day. She cracks a smile as her thoughts leave the long list and move to her little ones. The idea of giggles and joyous squeals have her picking up the pace. As she rounds the last corner, she takes a deep breath and thinks to herself, “I can’t wait to start the day.”
Vivian Wong, a preschool teacher, has a passion for teaching kids from all around the world. A native New Zealander, Vivian taught at an international school in South Korea and now teaches the Pre-K 2 class at Village. She graduated from The University of Canterbury in New Zealand with a Bachelors in Teaching and Learning for Early Childhood Education. When she isn’t in the classroom, Vivian enjoys running, netball, cooking and baking, and playing with her dog.
Her travel experience helps her connect with her young students in a special way and also makes her a great addition to The Village School family.
