Registration is open for the Financial Literacy and Money Management Summer Bootcamp. Learn how to create a personal budget, manage your money, build your credit, understand the stock market, save for college and retirement, and gain smart shopping strategies.
Gain professional, leadership, and interpersonal skills to think and act as an entrepreneur and owner of your finances. Collaborate in hands-on learning experiences this summer. You will receive 0.25 high school course credit and a certificate upon course completion.
The course was designed by The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania professors and will be taught by Graduate School of Education Penn GSE faculty.
About the Instructor: After co-founding a successful investment management team on Wall Street, Christine Galib founded Plan My Plate, a health/wellness consulting firm offering workshops on wellness, diet and exercise, stress management, yoga, and mindfulness in individual, corporate, and healthcare settings. A Teach For America alumna, Ms. Galib is thrilled to serve as the Wellness Director, The Entrepreneurship Diploma Director, and Entrepreneurship Instructor at The Village School. Ms. Galib is a nationally certified health coach and yoga teacher, and holds her A.B. from Princeton University and M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania, where she currently serves as an instructor.
