Frances Waller

Frances Waller

Year 6 Teacher

Frances completed her teacher training at the London Diocese Board for Schools, graduating from Roehampton University. The first five years of her career were spent teaching in two different inner city London schools. There, she had the privilege of teaching children from a number of different backgrounds, cultures and religions and it was partly her interest and enjoyment of this diversity which led her to move abroad in order to teach and learn from children from across the world.

The opportunity to travel is one of the reasons Frances decided to leave her home country and move abroad, and the love of travel inspires her still. She enjoys travelling, not only in strange and unique theatre, particularly in unusual settings!and around Asia, but also within Shanghai itself, finding unexplored places and learning about the culture and history of China. Frances also enjoy music and theatre and spends much of her free time going to concerts and seeing plays. Shanghai is full of new places and is particularly great for seeing strange and unique theatre, particularly in unusual settings!
