Acclaimed Artists To Teach at Summer Performing Arts With Juilliard

We’re very excited to announce the lead artists for this year’s music and dance programmes at Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard – both of whom are masters of their craft. Leading the music programme is renowned violinist Annaliesa Place. Annaliesa is the director of strings at Dwight-Englewood School in New Jersey and has performed across the US, Europe and Asia with ECCO, Classnotes, Alarm Will Sound, ACJW, Absolute Ensemble and Metropolis Ensemble.

Under 11 FOBISIA Games Day 1 Wrap-Up

Yesterday was a massive success for our Under 11 FOBISIA team! They did themselves proud in both their performances and display of sportsmanship. They started the morning very well in athletics bringing in a haul of 45 medals, with 2 gold, 6 silver and 25 bronze.

Science Week a Big Hit With Year 1 Children

The children have had a fantastic week and enjoyed being scientists! The week quite literally started with a bang and the children were excited to start their learning. After learning about evolution and Charles Darwin, they made their very own evolved junk model insects then created a Fact File about their amazing creatures using scientific vocabulary such as diet and habitat.

1X’s Turn to Tackle the Forest School

May is nearly over, the rain has (nearly!) all gone and Year 1 have been having a super time in our very special Forest Schools roof garden. Following the hard work of the other Year 1 classes, it is 1X’s turn to try out their green fingers. We have explored the different specimens of plants found in our roof garden, and even discovered some mini beasts!

We have all arrived safe and sound in sunny Bangkok and all students went to sleep pretty quickly after a busy day of travelling. A slight delay at the airport was the only hiccup in a very smooth travel day.

Yesterday, there was a real feel of community in the school. Children and parents from the Huaxin therapy centre, came to visit and collect some Art we were donating for an auction to be held in September, to help raise much needed funds for the centre.
