  • As the weather is beginning to change please make sure your child comes to school with suitable named outdoor clothes;  a raincoat with a hood and rain boots, which they can change into to go outside when it is wet. Please label all items with your child’s name!

OUR LEARNING THEME:  ANIMALS

So many children in our Pre Nursery classes have shown a great interest in animals of all shapes and sizes.  Not only do they love playing with the small world animals in the classroom, but they are also fascinated by their family pets and the creepy crawlies seen outside in the outdoor area.  Therefore we are going to further explore the animals found in different areas- farms, jungles, and the grassy areas around us.  We will discuss the names of the animals and the different sounds each animal makes.  The children will compare their sizes and how they move.  We look forward to the children telling us about their favourite animals!
