Natalia graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc Double Honours Degree in Geography. Shortly after, she began work in a Catholic school, as a teaching assistant, which reaffirmed that teaching was her vocation. Consequently, Natalia returned to her studies to complete a PGCE at St. Mary’s University in Twickenham, London.
Upon completing her teaching qualifications, Natalia began working in a tough inner city school where she gained experience and developed her practice in Upper Key Stage 2. In her first two years she became Dance Leader, Geography Leader and contributed to many extra-curricular activities. During her third year, as Middle Leader and Maths Manager of her school, she drove school improvement though the rigorous monitoring of teaching and learning as well as evaluating and developing the curriculum. In her fourth and final year at the school, she became part of the Senior Leadership Team, which meant she could support new staff while developing existing members in their practice, alongside having a more strategic impact on the running of the school.
At this point, Natalia found herself looking for a new set of challenges in a different context in order to further develop her skills and educational knowledge, therefore she applied for her current position at BISS Puxi.
Natalia has many wide ranging interests but also enjoys most new things she tries. Throughout her travels all over the world, she has taken part in sky diving, mountain climbing, sailing and skiing but day to day she enjoys photography, the arts, especially music and independent cinema, as well as reading and fashion.
