Azaher graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences and then went on to study a post graduate course in Toxicology at the University of Birmingham before completing his PGCE (Science) at Keele University.
Having been a teacher for the last 11 years his journey has taken him from Handsworth Grammar School in Birmingham where he spent 6 enjoyable years through to the International scene where he has taught for the last five years in Qatar and Kuwait respectively. Having thoroughly enjoyed the experience, Azaher took the decision to once again seek a new challenge and adventure and this has brought him and his young family to BISS Puxi. He believes that Chemistry is an excellent tool to engage pupils and that practical work is imperative to effective learning and enjoyment for pupils. His aim is to always stretch pupils to their full potential through motivation and encouragement, whether they are at the top or bottom of the ability range. He is looking forward to the challenge of being a part of BISS Puxi and developing even further as a classroom practitioner.
Azaher’s hobbies include playing Cricket, keeping fit and reading. He has two young children who will both attend BISS Puxi and he his young family are thoroughly looking forward to the vast opportunities exploring more of Asia and the middle kingdom.
