Sport

Taking part in sports and outdoor activities is great for our students’ personal and physical development. We want every child to develop healthy habits from an early age, and regular exercise is the perfect way to stay mentally and physically fit.

At our after-school clubs, our younger children play football, learn to dance, try yoga, and enjoy multi-sport sessions, which develop their gross motor and coordination skills. Our secondary students can play badminton, table tennis and football, and relax and recharge at our mindfulness club. We also offer cheerleading for students who want to try something a bit different!

Arts

We encourage every student to express themselves creatively. Through our world-class performing arts programme with The Juilliard School, aspiring actors and performers learn from specialist instructors and artists in creative spaces, before stepping on to the stage to showcase their talents.

Our creative after-school activities offer a breadth of opportunities, too. Your child can paint, draw, and sculpt at our arts and crafts club, develop their movement and choreography skills in our dance group, and manage stress at our mindful colouring sessions.

Enhanced by our collaboration with The Juilliard School, our music programme promotes cultural literacy and develops vital transferable skills, including creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Our talented teachers nurture our students’ skills and build their confidence, encouraging them to learn an instrument, star in class and school performances, and take part in recitals. Your child can also join our young voices group or funkadelic orchestra, sing in our choir, or even play the ukulele.

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award

We encourage all our students to take part in The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. Through the Award, each student sets their own goals and challenges, takes part in fun activities, and commits to making a real difference through service and outreach projects.

As they progress through the Award, students become more resilient, learn about themselves, and grow in confidence. Nurturing emotional, physical, and social growth – as well as embedding a sense of social responsibility – the Award is also a valuable addition to our students’ university applications.

At BST, your child will learn alongside classmates from across the world, both in school and on our Global Campus platform. Our community is home to rich and diverse cultures, and learning languages contributes to a sense of global citizenship, as well as feelings of mutual understanding and personal fulfilment.

As part of our commitment to a truly international education, we encourage our students to learn multiple languages, including Russian, Uzbek, Spanish, and French. We also run two modern foreign language clubs. Tuesday is dedicated to French and Friday to beginners’ Spanish.
