OUR CURRICULA
At Compass, your child will follow the best in British and international curricula. We were the first school in the Middle East to be accredited for the quality of our International Primary Curriculum. And we’re one of the few schools in Qatar that offers a choice between A-levels and the IBDP.
Taught by our exceptional teachers, lessons offer the perfect blend of challenge, support, and innovation. And across all age groups, collaborations with The Juilliard School, UNICEF and MIT add an exciting dimension to your child’s learning, inspiring curiosity and creativity.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- How long does the admissions process take?

- Do you charge an application fee?
- Yes, we do. Our application fee covers the administrative costs of your child’s assessment.
- Is the process different if my company pays the fees?
- If your company is paying your child’s school fees, our admissions and finance teams are happy to deal with them directly. Please let us know as early as possible in the application process.
- Can my child start halfway through a term?
- Yes, absolutely. Your child can start at Compass at any time in the year, subject to available places.
- Are you a selective school?
- Yes. Your child will do a short online assessment before they start with us to ensure our school is right for them.
- What are the differences between your three campuses?
Although we’re one school community, each of our campuses offers students something slightly different.
Our Gharaffa campus teaches early years and primary education. This complements our primary and secondary provision on our Madinat Khalifa campus, which is also home to our IBDP students. On our Themaid campus, we teach early years right through to A-levels.
All three campuses have outstanding facilities that deliver a first-class learning experience.
