At Northbridge International School Cambodia we seek to support every aspect of our students' learning from an inclusive perspective. This is reflected in every phase of our operations, from admissions to our after school programs. For English language learners and students needing additional academic or socio-emotional support, our English as an Additional Language Department, Learning Support Team, Reading Interventionists and Counselors provide valuable support networks to nurture all of our students’ development.
At Northbridge International School Cambodia, we recognise that every student’s learning journey to English proficiency may be different. For families who are keen to benefit from the world-class education that Northbridge offers, but whose children do not yet have the English mastery required, we invite them to enroll in our Accelerated Language Support program.
The EAL (English as an Additional Language) department strives to support students and teachers to become active language learners and teachers. English Language Learners should be able to access all areas of the curriculum in the most inclusive and least restrictive environment possible, and be empowered to be active members of the Northbridge International School Cambodia community.
Our instructional team is committed to providing our students with a holistic educational experience that includes opportunities and support to become lifelong learners. Following the Response to Intervention model (RTI), teachers use data from a variety of assessments to identify student needs and to design and implement programs that meet the language, academic, physical and social-emotional needs of our students.
