In the meeting, parents share information or feedback about the school with each other, bringing up questions if there are any, and giving some suggestions to the school.
Northbridge Principal Mr Richard Vaughan joins the meeting for the last 30 minutes to answer questions or share updates about the school.
The Parent Council meeting gives parents the chance to discuss various topics and hear different opinions from different families, which allows both the school and families to see things from other points of view and perspectives.
The meeting also gives parents the chance to get to know each other and develop better connections with others, especially foreign families that are new to Cambodia. Through this meeting, parents also become more involved with school activities, and contribute in setting up school events.
This parent engagement makes Northbridge not only a school, but a community and family for all of us.
Help us continue to make the school a better environment, and have your voice heard by joining the Parent Council today. We're waiting to welcome you to our family :)
The Parent Council also runs the 'Northbridge Parents' Facebook group - if you would like to join the group, please apply here.
