Brandon received his B.S. in Exercise Science with a minor in Health Studies from Iowa St. University. After university he spent a year in Vail, Colorado working as a personal trainer and aerobics instructor. Next, he went on to join the Peace Corps and spent two years volunteering in Jamaica for the Jamaica Basketball Association and teaching P.E.
This experience led him to pursue a master’s degree in teaching (K-6th) at the University of Hawaii. There he taught as a classroom teacher in grades K, 3rd, and 5th. After leaving Hawaii he arrived in Barcelona, Spain where he taught P.E. at the Benjamin Franklin International School for four years.
After that he spent two years teaching P.E. at the International School of Panama before returning to Barcelona to work at The American School of Barcelona as the Athletic Director and ES PE teacher for the last four years.
