She worked as a class teacher for two years in India in her hometown. When she moved to Cambodia, she started working as a class teacher for 5 to 7 year olds for 11 years at the Montessori School. In 2007, she joined Northbridge International School Cambodia and taught a combo classes comprising of Kinder and Grade 1 students.
The most valuable lesson she has learned from her vast teaching experience is how important her role is as a teacher and has come to understand the huge responsibilities that lie on her shoulders, which is to guide, mentor and nurture the tender aged students to generate a lifetime love for learning.
She has two sons, who are both alumni of Northbridge. At present, they are working and studying in Australia, Sydney. Her husband is a social worker who is based in India. She loves travelling with her family, reading, painting, stitching and art work. Her hobby is collecting recipes from around the world and love cooking delicious Indian food.
