Music Teacher and Grade Level Leader (Grades 9 & 10)

Adam has a BA in Music from Cardiff University, and an MA in Educational Leadership from Bath University. Before joining Northbridge, he taught music and held a variety of leadership positions in schools in the UK, Indonesia and Myanmar.

  • BA (Hons) Music, Cardiff University, UK
  • MA Educational Leadership and Management, Bath University, UK
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Secondary Music, University of Wales Bangor, UK

After graduating from his undergraduate degree, Adam completed his PGCE and taught in Wales for eight years, with additional responsibility as Head of Creative Arts Faculty for much of this time.

Adam’s first international school was in Bali, Indonesia. Here he oversaw the development of the school’s Music Department, including introducing IBDP Music to the curriculum and lead whole school accreditation with the Council of International Schools and Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Adam is moving to Northbridge from Myanmar.

Adam believes that music is a fundamental part of who we are, and that high quality musical experiences should be accessible to everyone as part of their education.

Adam enjoys a variety of sports including surfing and trail running as well as traveling and is looking forward to continuing life in South East Asia, whilst seeing more of Cambodia.
