Math and Physics Teacher

Andrew has a Masters Degree from Oxford. He joins Northbridge International having spent 8 years in Ho Chi Minh City at the British International School, his first overseas post.

  • Post-Graduate Certificate in Education, Exeter University

Andrew taught Physics up to Oxbridge entry for 28 years in the UK, moving to Vietnam in 2011 to take up a teaching post there. He has been a Day Housemaster, a Boarding Housemaster, Director of Examinations, Director of Extra-Curricular Activities and School Timetabler in his long career. He and his family did a one-year job swap to Trinity Grammar School, Sydney in 1995.

He has been a keen sportsman throughout, being school Captain of Swimming, played Club 1stXV rugby and 1stXI football in the UK, and was Director of Athletics at two of his schools. His wife has also worked in schools for many years, and their two children are grown up. He is also a keen chorister, and enjoys reading and solving cryptic crosswords and sudoku puzzles.
