Cai Roberts

Northbridge International School Cambodia - Cai

Athletic Director and PHE Teacher

Cai Roberts has a BA (Hons) from Cardiff Met University and a PGCE from the University of Wales, Bangor. He joined Northbridge from NLCS Jeju where he was the Director of Sport.

Having qualified in 1996, Cai spent his first 5 years in teaching in the UK before moving to Dubai in 2001.

Working initially as an EAL teacher he then spent 6 years at Dubai American Academy as the PE Head of Department. China followed Dubai, with the role of Director of Sport at Dulwich College Shanghai before returning to the UK.

After meeting his wife Anna, the last 8 years were spent between the UK, South America (Colombia and Venezuela) and South Korea (Jeju) leading the sports programmes at the British School of Caracas, Colegio Anglo Colombiano and North London Collegiate School Jeju.

Cai and Anna brought two young daughters, Elan and Miri, with them to Cambodia and enjoy immersing the whole family in the culture.
