Thomas George

Northbridge International School Cambodia - Thomas

Business and Economics Teacher

Thomas has a Masters Degree from University College London and is a qualified accountant. He joined Northbridge from Leman International School in Chengdu, another Nord Anglia Education school.

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), University College London, UK
  • MA Mathematics Education, University College London, UK
  • Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA)

After completing his undergraduate studies, Thomas started his career as an accountant, working in finance departments across various industries, before training as a teacher in 2014. Thomas spent four years teaching in schools and colleges in London, before taking up a post at another Nord Anglia Education school in Chengdu (China), where he taught Business, Economics, Mathematics and TOK for two years.  

Thomas is joining the school with his wife, Cansu, who is also teaching in the Secondary school. Still being relatively new to Asia, they are looking forward to the opportunity to explore Cambodia and neighbouring countries during their time at Northbridge. Thomas has learned French, Spanish and Turkish at varying levels and is looking forward to trying to learn some Khmer during his time in Cambodia.
