Ross has always been an educator and musician in parallel. He was appointed Musical Director of the North Powys Youth Band, Wales at the age of 22 and continued to freelance and teach privately in London.
He then moved to Kazakhstan to embark on 7 years of teaching and performing, where he became Director of Music at Haileybury Astana School, Nur-Sultan and co-principal trumpet at the Astana Opera House. Alongside this he founded and ran the Astana Music Society, which often undertook prestigious events across Kazakhstan with world-renowned artists.
He believes in great experiences for children and continued these projects while working at The British School Warsaw in Poland, where he took the children to perform for the Minister of Culture at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
Ross enjoys running, learning new languages and meeting new people from all over the world.
