NISC Reading Tree Challenge

Over Summer, some of our Primary students took up the Reading Tree Challenge. They kept a record of the books they read over the break and for every book they read, they received a leaf and for every 10 books, they received a mango.

On Wednesday, we celebrated their achievement with a 'tree - leafing ceremony' in the Library where the students attached some of their leaves and mangoes to the tree. They read many hundreds of books between them so the tree will be a beautiful and leafy. Thanks to the Secondary Design staff and students for making the tree which you can now see finished with hundreds of leaves and mangoes in the Primary Library
