New Primary and Secondary books in the library

We have our wonderful new books and they are all out on display to see. New books are denoted with a yellow circle sticker on the spine so you can easily tell. All of the new books will be restricted for one week while we give everyone a chance to see the new titles. Students are welcome to put a hold on new books and then we will save them once they become available.

PRIMARY

Junior Fiction
We have stacks of new Junior Fiction including some of the new releases of old favourite series like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Geronimo Stilton, Percy Jackson and Ivy + Bean.

We've also got some brand new series including Monsters Unleashed, Goosebumps Most Wanted and Time Hunters.

It's been a bumper year for civil rights stories so we have some cool non-fiction picture books like, Pride, Malala's Magic Pencil, She Persisted and The Youngest Marcher - Some great new titles for your UOIs.

Graphic Novels

Seriously cool new additions to graphic novels: Cleopatra in Space, Deltora Quest Manga series, The Baby-sitter club and check out our giant new copy of Marvel Monster's Unleashed - it's so big it takes up an entire table to read.

SECONDARY

Senior Fiction

The latest sequels in the Carve the Mark and Girl Online series are here. For romance and coming of age lovers, check out Piecing Me Together by Renee Watson, Meet Cute, a romance short story anthology, and A Girl Like That by Tanaz Bhathena.

For Sci-Fi enthusiasts, Heart of Iron looks like a thrilling space adventure and is set to be the first of a series. Ready Player One fans will enjoy Warcross, set in the dystopian future world of hackers and virtual reality. 

And for the truly disturbed among us, Orphan, Monster, Spy promises a bloody revenge story of an abused and orphaned Jewish girl turned ruthless killer on a quest to kill Nazis.
