Exceptional learning experiences

As an important component of all learning experiences at LIS Chengdu, our students develop their critical thinking in tandem with developing global perspectives. Our Global Perspectives curriculum, from Year 9, is designed to broaden our students’ international awareness, and our IB Programme particularly allows our students to focus on creating an international mindset through its ‘global citizenship’ framework. Through this framework, our students analyse various international topics and connect their local service with global events.

Our students love to showcase and further their learning through a wide range of after-school activities spanning the arts, technical skills, and sports, and they also enjoy going on national trips across China and international trips to destinations like Tanzania and Lés Martinets.

During all our students’ learning experiences, our learning support team is always available to guide those who may have individual needs and differences – including skills acquisition to personalised programming and support.
