We are proud to announce that Léman International School Chengdu has been shortlisted for a prestigiousChina Schools Awards in the category of Enterprise and Employability. Our entry was named “Ambassadors for the Future”.
The China Schools Awards are organised by The British Chamber of Commerce in China. The China School Awards aim to celebrate and recognise the achievements and best practices of international-oriented K-12 educational institutions across China.
Our entry for the awards focuses on the impact our education and high academic standards have on our students and their successes at university and beyond.
It also highlights our unique subject ambassador programme in which students represent themselves and their chosen subject within the school, and the wider community of Chengdu, China, and on the global stage.
Being confirmed as a finalist means that Léman International School Chengdu has been deemed by the judges to be in the top three of hundreds of entries from internationally oriented K-12 institutions across the whole of China, in this category.
The judges will conduct final interviews with the school scheduled for the 20th of February 2024, and the winner of the award will be announced at a Gala Dinner taking place on Thursday 29th of February at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Guangzhou, hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce in China.
Whatever the result on the 29th of February, the community of Léman International School can be immensely proud of being in the top three entries for all schools across China.
