The UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge (SMC) is a prestigious mathematics competition organized by the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT), designed for students aged 16–18. It challenges participants with complex problems that require logical thinking, creativity, and advanced problem-solving skills. The competition not only tests mathematical knowledge but also encourages students to explore innovative approaches and develop a deeper appreciation for mathematics. Awards such as Gold, Silver, and Bronze recognize top-performing students globally, while the Best in School award celebrates the highest achiever within each participating school.
