In the recently announced results of the 2025 UK Intermediate Biology Olympiad (iBO), one of our students has once again achieved outstanding success!

The Intermediate Biology Olympiad (iBO), organized by the Royal Society of Biology (RSB), is an international biology assessment for students aged 14–16 worldwide. It is not only an academic challenge but also a platform designed to inspire a passion for life sciences, while developing students’ scientific thinking and practical skills. Recognized for its prestige and rigor, iBO is one of the most respected competitions in the field of life sciences.

This year, our students truly shone on the international stage: a Year 11 student JIAMING H. received the Global Silver Award! Additionally, he has successfully advanced to the iBO China Camp, where he will receive intensive training to further enhance his biology skills and gain opportunities to participate in higher-level international competitions. The program also provides him with a platform to engage with cutting-edge biological knowledge and broaden his global perspective.
We wholeheartedly congratulate JIAMING H. on this remarkable achievement and sincerely thank our dedicated science teaching team for their guidance and support, helping students continually excel on their academic journey.
We look forward to all Léman students continuing to explore, grow, and shine on their journey in the life sciences!
