As February begins, Léman International School Chengdu is delighted to share a series of excellent university admission results from our Year 13 students.
We would like to give special congratulations to our students Pedro A. and Minhyeok L. for earning full scholarships to The University of Hong Kong (HKU)— a remarkable accomplishment that brings the total number of HKU full scholarships awarded to our Year 13 students this year to three. HKU is ranked #11 in the QS World University Rankings 2026, making it the highest-ranked university in Hong Kong and one of the top universities globally.
Pedro A. also received an offer from Cardiff University (UK) for Architecture, accompanied by a £10,000 scholarship. Cardiff University is a leading UK research university, particularly strong in architecture and the built environment.
Elena L. received an offer from Simon Fraser University (SFU, Canada) to study Criminology, along with a $10,000 scholarship. SFU is recognized as one of Canada’s top comprehensive universities, known for its strong social sciences and interdisciplinary programs.
Boris C. has been admitted to The University of Sydney, ranked #25 globally in QS 2026. It is one of Australia’s top universities, renowned for its academic excellence and research impact.
Brett Y. has been admitted to the Business Management program at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), ranked #44 in the QS World University Rankings 2026 and the third-ranked university in Hong Kong.
These outstanding achievements mark an exciting start to the year, and we are incredibly proud of all our Year 13 students. Congratulations again to everyone on these remarkable successes!
