Our MYP Year 10 students transformed their Chemistry classroom into a space for visual thinking, collaboration, creativity and discovery. Through hands-on Visual Thinking Routines, they explored atomic structure, balanced chemical equations and different types of chemical reactions—not simply by memorising concepts, but by observing, questioning, making connections and explaining their thinking.

From visualising atoms to identifying patterns and classifying reactions, every diagram and discussion helped students turn abstract Chemistry concepts into something they could see, explore and understand.
