Celebrating Success at the Nord Anglia Global Leadership Conference

Hosted in Switzerland each year, the Global Leadership Conference brings together Principals, Regional Managing Directors, and Executive leaders from Nord Anglia’s global family of schools. The annual event provides a valuable opportunity to connect, collaborate, share best practice and celebrate the achievements of schools and colleagues across the organisation.

During this year’s conference, one of the highlights for our school community was the recognition of Léman International School Chengdu with the Nord Anglia Regional Award for the Best IB Results.

This award recognises Léman’s outstanding academic performance within the China region and reflects our continued commitment to academic excellence and student success. Our students’ strong IB Diploma results, together with their continued success in gaining places at leading universities around the world, are a testament to the dedication of our students, teachers and wider school community.

We were also delighted to see Mrs Connor recognised with the Special Thanks Award, celebrating her contribution to the Nord Anglia community and her leadership at Léman.

 The award is a meaningful recognition of the commitment, care and leadership she brings to our school, as well as the collaborative spirit she fosters across our community. It is also a reflection of the many colleagues who work alongside her every day to support our students and strengthen Léman as a learning community.

For our families, these recognitions reflect what it means to be part of Nord Anglia: a globally connected school committed to high standards, educational innovation and continuous improvement, while always putting students at the heart of everything we do. 

Both recognitions are a celebration of the people behind Léman’s success. From teachers and academic leaders to support and administrative teams, every member of our community plays an important role in creating an environment where students can learn, grow and thrive.
