LIS Celebrates Music and Teamwork at CISA Battle of the Bands

Léman International School Chengdu was proud to host this year’s CISA Battle of the Bands, welcoming students and teachers from visiting schools for a wonderful celebration of music, creativity and collaboration.

The event featured fantastic performances from our guests, with each band bringing its own style, energy and enthusiasm to the stage. It was a pleasure to see young musicians sharing their talents, supporting one another and connecting through their love of music.

LIS was represented by two bands, one junior and one senior. We are delighted that our bands received the Best Stage Presence and Best Teamwork awards. These achievements recognise the students’ hard work in rehearsals, their growing confidence and the support they showed one another throughout the experience.

Beyond the awards, the event was an opportunity to perform in front of a new audience, learn from fellow musicians and celebrate the courage it takes to step onto a stage. Every participant helped make the occasion special.

A heartfelt thank you to all participating schools, judges, teachers, student volunteers and staff who supported the event. Congratulations to our junior and senior bands, and to every young musician who filled our theatre with music and joy!
