fs2 graduation june

It was a day filled with laughter, proud smiles, and happy tears as our youngest learners from FS2A, FS2B, FS2C, and FS2D took center stage for their much-anticipated Foundation Stage 2 (FS2) graduation ceremony at NAISAK. Dressed in adorable caps and gowns, the children celebrated a year of remarkable learning, personal growth, and unforgettable moments—showing they’re ready for the exciting next step in their educational journey.

The morning ceremony began with FS2A and FS2B leading the celebrations. Following a warm welcome speech, FS2A captivated the audience with an imaginative and energetic performance of Going on a Bear Hunt, complete with stomping feet and wide-eyed wonder that had everyone smiling.

Next, FS2B delighted the crowd with One Year Older, a charming musical number highlighting how much these little stars have grown. This was followed by the heartfelt and often humorous What I Want to Be When I Grow Up segment, where the children shared their dreams of becoming doctors, astronauts, teachers, and even superheroes—expressing pure excitement and innocence.

Adding a rich cultural dimension, the children also performed a spirited Arabic song and dance with pride and enthusiasm. FS2A and FS2B then proudly received their graduation certificates, beaming as they crossed the stage. The morning concluded with a moving rendition of the Thank You Song, touching hearts across the room.

After a short break, the auditorium buzzed once again as FS2C and FS2D took their turn. Following a heartfelt welcome, FS2C opened with I Am On My Way, a sweet anthem celebrating growth and progress. FS2D followed with On My Way, echoing the same themes with infectious energy and bright smiles.

The popular What I Want to Be When I Grow Up segment returned, showcasing future chefs, firefighters, and one determined child who proudly declared, “I want to be Minnie Mouse.” The audience responded with collective “aww”s.

Another lively Arabic performance brought joy and rhythm, followed by FS2C and FS2D receiving their certificates with pride and posing happily for photos. The day wrapped up on a joyful note as all FS2 children joined together once more for the Thank You Song, filling the space with gratitude, hope, and celebration.

Among the proud family members attending was NAISAK alumna Mayassa, Class of 2022, who is now studying medicine. Reflecting on the ceremony, she shared:

“The graduation was very organized, and the students looked like they were having a wonderful time. There were so many performances and cute moments. I saw the teachers really working with the students to ensure they were doing all the moves correctly. The vibes were wonderful.”

Parents echoed this warmth, including the mother of FS2 graduate Layan Ahmed, who expressed:

“Emotional, happy, proud—thank you so much Ms. Cora for your patience, dedication, and love for Layan. And Ms. Amina, Ms. Nadine, Ms. Chloe—I love you all. My family felt welcomed and loved, and the vibes were really sweet with the gifts and the photobooths. The staff really outdid themselves. We are proud to continue our journey at NAISAK in this amazing atmosphere.”

Ms. Kathleen Lyons, Head of EYFS, summarized the collective pride and effort behind the event:

“We are so proud of them. They have been practicing for a long time, and it was wonderful to see everyone come together to celebrate their achievements over the year. The parents are incredibly supportive—none of this would have happened without them. The teachers worked phenomenally from day one, setting routines, teaching, and inspiring students throughout the year.”

Following the final speech, the ceremony transitioned to hugs, gifts, and countless photo opportunities. Cameras clicked, parents cheered, and teachers watched with pride as the young learners they nurtured all year long celebrated their success.

From finger painting to phonics, snack time to story time, the Foundation Stage 2 children have grown immensely. This FS2 Graduation Day wasn’t just a ceremony—it was a joyful celebration of childhood, curiosity, and big dreams growing in our smallest classrooms.

Congratulations to all our FS2 graduates—you’re officially one year older, one year braver, and ready for Year 1 and beyond!
