On Wednesday, February 26th, in partnership with Artemex Sports Centre , a group of talented NAISAK students had the opportunity to compete in the Queens Junior World Cup at Queens Qatar School. The event featured an exciting and competitive football tournament, bringing together players from various schools. It provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their skills while fostering camaraderie and school spirit. The evening was filled with energy, determination, and a shared passion for the beautiful game. The partnership with Artemex aims to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and athletic excellence.

The competition was intense, with players from various schools giving their all on the field. The matches were marked by skillful dribbling, precise passing, and remarkable teamwork. From the outset, it was clear that the NAISAK players were strong contenders, each battling for the coveted cup and medals. Their commitment to excellence was evident, reflecting the values instilled in them through our football programs as well as Artemex.

NAISAK’s Tournament MVP speaks!

Congratulations to Mohamad Donnawe, Aryan Saravanan, Ahmad Al Mudahka, Aarush Haria, Umar Rozaidi, Yahya Mansoor, and Muhammad Umar Zulfadli, who were part of the winning team. Aarush Haria was named the MVP of the tournament for his outstanding performance.

Aarush was the player of the tournament. He led his team forward with incredible play, scoring the most goals,” said Coach Lockwood. Head of PE at NAISAK, Mr. Jake Ellis, also praised the team’s effort: “I am incredibly proud of our MVP, Aarush, and the boys for their tenacious approach to football, both in school and beyond. It’s clear how important this sport is to them and to this country.”

What this championship means to NAISAK and Artemex

In the end, NAISAK emerged as the champions of the Queens Junior World Cup. Their victory was a testament to the hard work, perseverance, and teamwork of students, who displayed exceptional skill and determination throughout the tournament.
