Football
Practiced and played on two grassy outdoor fields, football is a big part of student life at Northbridge.

Basketball
We teach our students the basic skills of basketball before they learn how to tactically use them in complex play on the school team.

Volleyball
Our volleyball team has the perfect conditions for our students to develop resilience, discover the meaning of sportsmanship, and commit to a cause greater than themselves.

Swimming
We see learning how to swim as one of life’s essential skills for our Northbridge students. Our dedicated Aquatics Centre is designed to teach all students how to swim, while the best go on to join the school swim team.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What is the purpose of the application fee?
The application fee covers the administrative cost of the assessment our teachers will undertake with your child. With almost 1,000 enquiries for places every year, the fee also allows us to identify those parents who are most committed to sending their children to our school.
  • How long does the admissions process take at Northbridge International School Cambodia?
From the moment you first contact our admissions team to the point we offer your child a place, our school enrolment process shouldn't take longer than two weeks. Timings also depend on how quickly you're able to gather the necessary application information.
  • Is the process different if my company pays the fees?
Our aim is to make the process as straightforward as possible for you, our parents. If your company is paying your child’s school fees, our admissions and finance teams will be happy to liaise with them directly, allowing you to concentrate on your child’s education and wellbeing.
  • Is there a waiting list?
Possibly, it depends on the grade you’re applying for. The Northbridge admissions team will inform you at the time of application if there is a waitlist or not, and explain whether a place is likely to become available for your preferred start date.
  • Can students apply to start mid-semester?
Yes, absolutely, you can apply to join Northbridge at any time, as we accept new students all year round. That said, we advise new families to join us at the start of the school year (every August), if they can. This is so your child doesn’t miss any important education and has more opportunities to make friends.
  • Are children assessed as part of the admissions process?
Yes, there is an assessment process, which differs depending on the age of your child. Assessments range from in-class observations in Early Learning through to English and Maths testing in Secondary. You might also have an interview with the Head of Primary or Secondary (which can be done via video if you are not in Cambodia).
