The current situation has forced schools around the world to transform their dynamic classroom lessons into online virtual classes. This is no different at Northbridge International School Cambodia, where teachers have had to find innovative ways to make learning interactive to our students during this challenging time.

Although we are all virtual learning at the moment, there are many things to celebrate and reflect on from our sporting success in Season 2. Taking a look back reminds us that although this month has been difficult and we are missing seeing our athletes on campus, the start of 2020 was excellent for our Northbridge International School Cambodia Nagas.

The Grade 5 PYP Exhibition was launched this week at Northbridge International School Cambodia. The launch looks a little different to how we have worked in previous years as students have not been on campus. Our Grade 5 students will still need to work collaboratively, research and problem-solve, but this time it may all take place in an online environment.

Our 51 Grade 10 students who are graduating from the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program (MYP) at Northbridge International School Cambodia presented their fabulous Personal Projects to the whole school community during an annual showcase day and evening.

A few weeks ago, our Northbridge International School Cambodia Grade 7 students went on their annual MIA trip. They were very fortunate to have been able to go to outdoor adventure centre Jombok Hoas, where they focused on team-building, protecting the environment, and embodying the IB learner profile of a risk taker.

One of the many wonderful characteristics of Grade 6 students at Northbridge International School Cambodia is their ability to see the positive in any situation and make the most of it.

During our How We Organise Unit in Grades 2 and 3, Northbridge International School Cambodia students have been learning about how they can make the world a better place for all who live in it.

Northbridge International School Cambodia Grade 9’s Mission in Action Trip provided opportunities for team building, creativity and service as well as visiting cultural sites.

For the first time in many years the Grade 11 Mission In Action created an extraordinary combined experience at Northbridge International School Cambodia and in Kompong Seila with C-4 Adventures. With 34 students attending, we looked forward to the community building and life experiences to come.
