I'm a passionate humanities teacher from Colombia. I enjoy learning about other cultures and that is why I started teaching English as a second language as a way to explore the world in the classroom with my students. I decided to teach social sciences internationally because it mixes my passion for languages, cultures and understanding of societies and individuals. I believe I am a balanced person that also enjoys sports, such as cycling and volleyball, and practices yoga. I started working at an international school in Colombia as an English teacher for two years before moving abroad. I worked for a year in Kazakhstan developing curriculum for the teaching of English as a second language and later worked for two more years in the secondary section supporting students with external examinations (GCSE). I obtained my DELTA certification around this time and decided to move to Cambodia to teach Humanities. I have done so for the last 3 years.
Qualifications: BA in Humanities with an emphasis on foreign languages. (Universidad Pedagógica Nacional); DELTA Certificate (Cambridge Assessment by Cambridge University)
