BTEC Overview
The BTEC qualification was formed in 1996 and is a well established, esteemed career-focused qualification that can be studied alongside other qualifications to provide an extensive academic High School portfolio.
St Andrews is the only school in Bangkok to offer student-centred BTEC programmes to students in Years 7-13. We are really excited to now be offering Level 2 and 3 BTEC subjects that will be integrated into our curriculums for Years 10 & 11 and our Senior Studies students.
The BTEC is an internationally renowned vocational qualification that provides a pathway to university and beyond. Designed and taught in collaboration with leaders and professionals in education and industry.
The approach of this highly established qualification is very practical. Your child will develop career-based competencies by applying what they have learnt in the classroom to real-life scenarios and environments. BTEC is highly regarded worldwide and provides equivalent qualification to the IGCSE, at Level 2 and IB at Level 3.
