Suttiluk (Wan) Puangsuwan

Music Technician

I had the honour of studying with Nicola Jurgensen, Phillip O. Paglialonga, Roeland Hendrikx and Andrew Simon. In 2017, I was chosen to be an exchange student at Conservatorium Maastricht, Netherland. As a performer I have been a member of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Princess Galyani Vadhana Youth Orchestra, Siam Sinfonietta, Pro Musica, Studio28, Feroci Philharmonic Winds, and the Rangsit Yamaha Wind Orchestra, Thailand Wind Philharmonic, Bangkok Wind Orchestra, Worldship Orchestra from Japan, Shade Wind Chamber, Silpakorn University Wind Orchestra, Silpakorn University Orchestra, and the Bansomdej Rajabhat University Wind Orchestra.

Apart from my life as a performer I have taught master classes in Songkla Thailand, Bangkok Christian Collage and Penang Malaysia. Currently, I teach both the Primary and High School Music Department at St Andrews International School Bangkok. I also am a Clarinet Instructor of the Faculty of Music at Silpakorn University. In addition to teaching field, I’m Clarinet Artist of Yamaha Music Thailand and Clarinet player with a range of orchestral, opera, chamber and solo. Other than my clarinet profession, I also teach the ukulele, wind band and Jazz band.

I have joined many Clarinet and Music competitions including Quebec International Music Competition 2021 (Platinum Prize) Siam Sinfonietta Virtual Virtuoso Competition (1st Prize) King's Peak Music Competition Global Online International Classical Music Competition 2021 (1st Prize) TIWEC (Thailand International Wind Ensemble Competition), Young Thai Talented Classical Musicians, Rangsit Music Competition, PGVIEC (Princess Galyani Vadhana International Ensemble Competition 2018), and a final list PYO call for soloists. I earned a Master's of Music Research and Development at the Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University, where I studied clarinet under Yos Vaneesorn.

During the course, I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarships from the “Fund for Classical Music Promotion Under the Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana.”

I'm a keen photographer and shoot with a film camera. I love to spending my free time playing music and enjoying life with a scuba tank or free diving under the sea exploring the marine life.
