I completed my degree in Education and Child Development in 2013 at the University of Greenwich in London. Following this, I worked as a teaching assistant for a year to further develop my understanding of the national curriculum and school environment. In 2015, I completed my teacher training course with Essex Primary SCITT.
I worked at an infant school for three years in Essex, then moved to London, where I had the opportunity to work in various schools and year groups as a supply teacher for a further two years. This experience allowed me to understand the learning journey that children take throughout their Primary School years. I pride myself in always creating a safe, friendly and productive environment for my students to learn and thrive.
I moved to Bangkok at the end of 2020 to work for St Andrews International School, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. STA is an inclusive and diverse school with a positive, stimulating learning environment for all learners. It has been a pleasure to work in a school where the children are happy, engaged and willing to learn.
I love living in Bangkok because of all the travel opportunities, friendly people and fantastic food. I look forward to being able to explore more of South East Asia.
