At university, I gained a degree in History and Education Studies before completing Teacher Training in 2004. I spent 6 years teaching in the UK and the remaining years have been spent teaching internationally.
I have been at STA since 2015. I have been lucky enough to have gained experience teaching in each year of Primary School, from Early Years through to Year 6, which gives me a great understanding of the overall development of children, from their first year at Primary School to their last and moving on into High School. As well as being a classroom teacher, I am a Certified Yoga Instructor and Mindfulness Educator and I love to bring elements of these into the classroom.
I am a big believer that physical and mental health and wellbeing play an important role in developing the whole child and supporting them to reach their best potential in all aspects of their lives, including academically.
