I gained my teaching qualification at St. Mary’s University College in Twickenham where I graduated with a PGCE in Primary Education. Following on from my graduation, I worked at a Primary school in North London for 9 years, where I took on many different roles; these included running the Comenius Programme in conjunction with the British Council and coordinating Numeracy, Pupil Premium and Geography across the school.
As Pupil Premium Coordinator, I was able to draw upon funding to organise and support children to improve education outcomes for disadvantaged pupils. My role as International coordinator allowed me to create opportunities for pupils and teachers to participate and exchange in activities with six countries across Europe. This wonderful opportunity allowed me to visit various educational settings across Europe this is where my passion for working in an international setting stemmed from.
I joined the teaching staff at St Andrews in 2017 where I worked for three years as a Teacher in Year 6 and have since moved on to work in Year 4. I am also the Primary Math’s Coordinator. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to deliver my teaching and to engage the children in my class.
I am originally from North London, England. Outside of school I enjoy reading, swimming, travelling and exploring Thailand and its vast attractions.
There is a lovely community spirit and a welcoming environment at St Andrews. An inclusive school where all pupils and staff are encouraged to be ambitious.
