Having graduated from the University of Wales, Cardiff, with an Education BA (Hons) degree in 2001, I initially worked for the British Government as a Systems Development Officer. In 2008, I decided it was time to take up teaching and came to Thailand to pursue that calling.
Since my time here, I have worked for a number of international schools across all classes in Key Stage 2. At previous schools I have held literacy and enrichment coordinator posts, promoting literacy and ways to extend and challenge gifted children throughout the school. I have been at St Andrews International School since 2018.
In my free time I enjoy being with my wife and child. We love to travel around Thailand as well as other countries in South East Asia. I also enjoy distance running and trying to remain healthy. To relax, I enjoy reading and playing guitar.
St Andrews offers something which is rare in a mainstream school setting and that is its inclusive support of all students regardless of their background. This was a huge reason for my interest in the school.
"Mr Ross is a great teacher and always listens to us."
"He loves to read and write and this make us want to as well."
