Samantha Barritt

STARs Teacher

I began my teaching journey in the UK in 2016, completing a CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education and working in Educational settings in my hometown of Sheffield, England. This consisted of Nurseries, Primary Schools and Hospital settings.

In 2013, I decided to continue my career overseas and moved to Phuket, Thailand, to work in an International School as a Year 1 and 2 Teacher. During this period, I completed my Early Childhood Education Degree through UK Distance Learning and settled into my life overseas.

I moved to Bangkok in 2017 to work in an International Pre-School teaching under 5's and completing various courses in Safeguarding, SEN and Classroom Management. Finally, I started at STA Primary working as part of the STARs High Needs team in 2020, where you can find me in the STARs classrooms having fun and learning with our students!

I enjoy running, sports and exploring the beautiful beaches of Thailand!
