I love being a teacher and am lucky to follow my dream of being a special education teacher here at STA. I believe that a happy child can learn more effectively. Children should learn that learning is happiness. I also believe in growing together with children and adults around me, through a consant mutual support. Everyday I learn something from students, parents and colleagues. This is why I am a happy teacher as well as a happy learner.
St Andrews considers differences as a benefit to community members. Management values individual differences and 'a happy child', which influences other members in the school community. I love the way children with special needs here are included and accepted in the school community. Here, SEN children are seen and treated with same level of respect and focus as the rest of the students. This reflects the values shared by everyone here. I'm reminded everyday that everyone at STA is working together for our children, both SEN and non-SEN.
"They say I'm kind and patient."
