The staff of the Primary School Library invite parents to a coffee morning to meet the staff and have a look around our ever-growing Library and gives details of all the different ways you can stay up-to-date with what’s happening.
We hope you have received our email with details of the upcoming Coffee Morning which will take place on Monday 3 September from 8.00 - 9.30 a.m. in the Library. If you haven’t yet RSVP’d to reserve your place please email libraryps@standrews.ac.th or pop in to the Library to confirm by Wednesday 29 August so that we can confirm numbers for refreshments. We will be available to answer your questions, show you around and explain more about how the library systems work to help you and your children.
The children were very excited to explore all the new books we have and Valentin and Tom became our first borrowers of the new school year. They chose the same book - Narwhal Unicorn of the Sea - to read so we are looking forward to hearing how they enjoyed the story.
This week’s books are again from our new stock and cover a range of interesting topics and reading levels:
Did you know you can access our library catalogue system on your mobile phone, iPad or tablet via the FREE Destiny Quest App which is available through iTunes and Google Play? Simply download the app and choose our library website. You can then browse as a guest or use your St Andrews’ log in username and password to check whether we have a book which you would like to read. Maybe you saw a book you would like to buy at the bookstore but why not check if it’s in our our library first!
Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook which is a great way to keep in touch and see what’s happening in the library throughout the week.
At St Andrews Bangkok, we believe that every student deserves to feel seen, valued, and included both inside and outside the classroom. That’s why we are incredibly proud to introduce the Friendship Benches project, an initiative designed to foster connection, kindness, and community spirit across the school.
From 25th May to 27th May, St Andrews International School Bangkok proudly hosted the 2025 Nord Anglia SEA STEAM Festival. Students from across Southeast Asia came together for three inspiring days of creativity, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving. This year’s big question: “How can we reduce or repurpose school waste to create a lasting impact in our communities and environment?”
From cultural celebrations and hands-on STEAM challenges to expert talks and a final showcase of student-led projects, the festival was a true celebration of innovation and sustainability.
NAE Global Campus received a staggering 3,300 entries from 66 Nord Anglia schools all around the world, and one student from STA shone bright, winning Best in Show in the Art Music category: a big congratulations to Freya in Year 8 for her truly outstanding achievement and stellar performance!
