Staff of the Simon Lawrence Library at St Andrews International School Bangkok are pleased to tell you that yet more new books have arrived to expand the wealth of books available to our students.
This week’s new books add to both our fiction and nonfiction sections. Amongst the new arrivals in the fiction section are two National Book Award finalists, “Ghost” and “Never Fall Down”, and the Newbery Honor and Coretta Scott King Author Award Winner “Piecing Me Together”. Our nonfiction Social Science section boasts more new titles ranging from social interaction, social change, and social groups to culture as well as communities. We have also added books relating to some of the current world issues, for example climate change, Brexit and blockchain. We hope you will enjoy our new collection.
Congratulations to St Andrews senior student Pin, who has received an offer to study Economics at Brown University. Have a read to learn more about Pin’s IB Diploma journey and why she has chosen an Economics degree with an interesting concentration for her Bachelor’s.
We are thrilled to announce that St Andrews International School Bangkok has been selected to host the VEX Signature Event in November 2024.
