We look at the entries to the Life in Thailand competition for Key Stage 3 students at St Andrews International School Bangkok.
Congratulations to all those who entered the Key Stage 3 ‘Life in Thailand’ Art competition. There were some very creative artworks and it was hard to choose the top 3. As advertised last week, our distinguished panel of judges voted for the following artists: 1st place: Poon Kititarakul 7c; 2nd place: Bianca Stevens 8c; 3rd place: Emma Cha 8e. This week we also have the other entries from Amee 7h, Anton 8h, Anush 9d, Berry 8e, Erika 9b, Karin 8f, KhaoPan 8h, Kiersten and Nitnem 7c, Merika 9e, Ohm 7h, Riya 7h, Vaydu 7j and Zi Ying 8b.
This week our artist of the week is Sante in Year 7f. Sante’s detailed watercolour painting is of a mythical beast and depicts a tangled knot of tentacles arising from the sea. A very imaginative piece of work.

With the goal of providing meaningful help to the flood victims in the northern regions of Thailand, our entire community at St Andrews Bangkok came together to raise funds and donations for the affected families. In the span of a few short weeks, added to donations of food and clothing, we managed to raise an astounding total of 386,676.50 THB in donation funds. To all students, teachers, parents, and staff who participated in our efforts and contributed to this cause—thank you!
