Meet our exceptional school leaders, take a guided tour expertly led by our passionate students, and discover firsthand what makes us the best British school in Hanoi.
Martin Toner, the STEAM Leader at British International School Hanoi (BIS), explained to Urbanist Hanoi that one group of students designed a diving suit that drew on their knowledge of Science and Chemistry, as well as design and even aesthetics. The project was in response to a partnership program with America’s prestigious MIT University that rests at the heart of the school’s commitment to STEAM.
Here at BIS Hanoi’s Geography department, our goal is to stretch the thinking of our students to believe that there are no boundaries to the ideas they can create, and the progress they can make.
Congratulations to all of our Principal Award recipients who have really shone when showing characteristics from our Aide Memoire: Care, Respect and Integrity.
It was my pleasure to award Nguyen Hoa Thuy Tien (Tina) and Le Hien Chuc An with prizes for co-designing the new BIS Hanoi Lionhearts logo. It was a stunning collaborative effort, which captured the spirit of our school, perfectly.
Our under 11 FOBISIA squad have arrived in Phuket and are currently resting before 3 days of tough competition against some outstanding schools from across South East Asia.
School libraries should be places of opportunity; learning hubs where students can access the latest information, helping them to succeed in a global, competitive economy.
At BIS, we are always looking to provide students with opportunities to make links with others outside our BIS community. This helps to develop global perspectives and to understand a different culture.
