This term, Performing Arts Department decided to run some lunchtime activities for our keenest thespians to come along and have opportunities to act and dance outside of lessons. As a result, ‘Starbird’ was born.
For Secondary parents, we are inviting them to login to the new BIS Parent Portal, where parents can access to academic reports, study timetable, communications and house points. In the first instance, we are trialing the process with Secondary students.
As you are most likely aware countries around the world are looking at their own problems of racism, often towards their own indigenous and minority people and black people and trying to do better. Our teachers have been talking with students the last couple of weeks about Black Lives Matter and different countries responses.
Students have driven initiatives and addressed the school to promote the importance of health and wellbeing and this strong student voice is underpinned by the student leadership structure that has developed at the school.

We are delighted to share with you that out of the 850 Nord Anglia pupils that entered the Young Musician of the Year Competition 3 BIS Hanoi Students are amongst those receiving awards.
This term, our Key Stage 3 students participated in the MIT Challenges as part of their STEAM Curriculum, under the guidance of our teachers. After a period of planning the projects, this week, as teams, they presented their approaches to the challenge.
