It has been a week of reflection in the Secondary section at BIS Hanoi.
Today, I met with all students in Year 7, 8, 9 and 10. We asked them to reflect on how we can increase our international mindedness, improve our assessment system and make BIS even better in 2020/21. We were very impressed by the students’ reflections and their ideas for the future.
Elsewhere, teachers were sharing their reflections on pupil progress with the parents of Key Stage 3 students. The campus was wonderfully busy, which was a genuine source of joy.
Adding to the excitement was a STEAM challenge, led by Mr Toner and his team. Year 12 students were focused on their extended essay and Year 10 students were introduced to career advice.
Finally, I had the pleasure of meeting next year’s Year 7 students at the Year 6 Leavers’ assembly. It was lovely to look back on their successful primary years. It was one of the busiest but best days of the year!
