This week afforded us the opportunity to celebrate our diversity and internationalism with our Parade of Nations bringing huge smiles of pride from our many families who came to support. The Hub was a gastronomic delight as it was transformed into an international melting pot of food, colour, and entertainment. Most certainly one of the most popular days in the year, the International Food Fair excelled in creating a truly exceptional experience. A huge thank you from the school community to all of the parents and helpers who worked together to create such a fantastic experience. Also special thanks to our performers who had quite a captive audience as they wowed with their variety of talents. From the talents we saw from our parents yesterday, it’s no surprise that we have such exceptionally talented students.
As the term draws to an end, I look forward to tonight’s IB Art Exhibition as our students curate their own exhibition as they take on a new specification from the IBO. Additionally, our Evening of International Music, performed by a selection of our choirs and orchestra, will certainly bring a smile to the faces of many. Finally, we wish our Year 12 students well as their bags are packed, their fundraising is complete and they head to Nord Anglia’s Global Expedition Centre in Tanzania for what is sure to be a trip of a lifetime, supporting the local community. Again, a huge thank you to the parents who supported the fundraising initiatives, who kept baking, selling coffee and constantly showing their support to raise the targeted funds. We look forward to sharing their experiences when they return.
So, all that's left to be said is have a great break and I look forward to welcoming you back on Tuesday 5th April. Please have safe travels or enjoy some much appreciated time at home with your families.
