From our Director of Admissions

Dear Parents

I thought I’d take a few moments to introduce myself.

My name is Sally Embley and I am the new Director of Admissions here at NAIS Pudong.

I’m a mum of 5 children and caretaker of one husband!

I have been here only a short time having moved from Dubai with my family and before that we lived in Beijing, Thailand, Norway, Venezuela and Taiwan.

I have worked as the Director of Admissions and as an Early Years teacher during my time with Nord Anglia. My husband Michael is the Regional Managing Director for our international schools in China.

The main reason for introducing myself is that I am used to meeting parents and very much enjoy hearing feedback on our school. No school is perfect and as a member of the schools Senior Leadership Team I am in a position to make changes where needed. Of course good feedback is also welcome!

The school is buzzing with new ideas and Michael and Lesley-Ann will shortly publish their plans for the school entitled “The next 15 years”. This will be a detailed document looking forward. My role is more personal than that but I am sure that both will be very useful.

I look forward to meeting you. You can stay longer if you bring cake but I have a good cup of coffee to share!

Best regards

Sally Embley
